Remember when we did the Pascal's Triangle activity and you were supposed to color in the even numbers? Then check out this video:

  1. This is actually a video that my students and I put together. The Sierpinski triangle is an equilateral triangle 64 feet on a side that is made out of about 12000 chips (16* 3^6=11644 if built correctly). You would get the same structure if you went down 64 levels on a Pascal Triangle and colored in the even numbers. It took us about 3 hours to build for 30 of us. Here is a link to a making of video.
